Ladies Night Out

The heroes don't always show up, and good doesn't always triumph as this city just found out during the first team-up of Firegirl and Colossal Woman.

While still roaming around and testing out her newfound powers, Samantha DeVries aka the Colossal Woman sees that she's not the only costumed person here and fearing it's another hero she starts to prepare for a fight. Only this time however the fact that this woman who is engulfed in flames flying around is laughing hysterically and Samantha witnesses her start throwing fire at innocent civilians who are running away screaming from the horror that has befallen this town.
Still in a state of awe Sam barely realizes when the small flaming girl flies right up next to her face and starts talking to her.

FG: Why are you stopping, I thought you were having a good time?

CW: Ummm...I am, It's just you are the first super-powered person I've met that hasn't tried to attack me.

FG: Now why would I try something as stupid as that? You were helping keep that kill count high. Oh! looks like more people are trying to run, gotta keep at it or else they might tell someone we're here and our fun will be cut short. See ya!

as she flies off to kill more civilians Sam smiles and resumes her destruction filled rampage thinking to herself "It looks like I just made a new friend."
